PerPortam B.V. is an ICT company based in the Netherlands. Its mission is to design, create and sell SaaS applications that provide specialist knowledge, most notably on finance and risk management issues, to the professionals and to those with limited knowledge on these subjects.

This financial information is provided in an understandable manner and it is current (“real time”). This allows the user make better informed decisions with regard to the company’s financial future. PerPortam’s customers are:

• SME service providers such as accountants, capital providers and, business consultants;
• SME companies in all industries with a specific focus from 1 to 20 employees; 

PerPortam focuses on fulfilling the needs of its customers in one integrated web-based system, or online platform. Although this online platform is integrated it can be divided into three separate products (discussed in further detail below):

• Business Plan Wizard
• Online office suite
• Financial monitoring

The backbone of this online platform is PerPortam’s financial software and it is included in all three product offerings. This financial sofware is what sets PerPortam apart from other (non-) integrated solution providers for SME companies and SME service providers.

With this financial software our customers can make reliable financial forecasts. These financial forecasts are dynamic – i.e. they allows users to “switch in time” constantly and to any period (days, weeks, months, quarters, etc) without having to re-do their calculations. The software automatically re-calculates the entire forecast in accordance with the period chosen. Second, by combining the online platform with an online accounting system, customers can have instant access to real time financial information. This software is most present in financial monitoring.

Financial monitoring allows customers to monitor the financial results of a company. This can be the customer’s own company, or a portfolio of investment companies. Financial monitoring can also be used by service providers to monitor companies for their clients.
           
Financial monitoring includes budgetting, scenario planning (short term and long term) and comparing scenarios with accounting information on a real-time basis. Financial monitoring also provides a variety of KPIs (key performance indicators) to management and warnings to its users. Users can select the various KPIs from a financial library and display them graphically on dashboards in the online platform. Future add-on products will include base valuations and real-time valuations, investor input (dealsheets) and output (returns) and providing warnings on breach of covenants of investments.

Online office suite allows customers to organise their workflows. Online office suite includes such features as customer relationship management (CRM), back-office enterprise resource planning, and e-commerce in one application with the modularity and flexibility to meet SME specific business needs.
